Trip to the Zuiderzeemuseum fair

050 Leann riding a merry-go-aroundWe have seen the Zuiderzeemuseum numerous times, but this weekend they had a fair going on in the outdoor museum. Leann wanted to go there, so after breakfast we headed towards the Zuiderzeemuseum. The entrance has been paid for through our museum card, but usually they ask for a € 5 parking fee anyways. This is how I have become evil towards venues like this. I found a little parking lot in the area which was free of charge and managed to avoid the fee.

After getting our tickets we went on the ferry that would take us to the venue. It’s 15-minute boat trip passing the harbors of the city; a beautiful sight. We were one of the first people arriving at the venue. I like to go early, because it allows me to take better pictures, without disturbing a whole lot of people. We didn’t stay really long and it was a nice day out. In the afternoon we took things easy and slow at home.

All in all a beautiful day. An impression in pictures (and a video!) is available by clicking on the picture of this entry. For the video click here.
