Our Valentine's day...
Sounds like you had a great day. The carnival dancers must have frozen their butts off! We have winter still too, with lots of snow. Must be all over Europe.
I hope you and Mickel had a happy Valentine’s Day!
We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day really. It was waaaay to go to see the parade, so we skipped on that this year.
I don’t like loud parties where you can’t talk to people
Glad you had fun anyway!
Sucks about carnival, I hope Dutch people will decide to move this celebration to sometime in June or something, would be a lot more gezellig if you ask me! ![]()
We cycled to the restaurant where we had dinner tonight and it was enough to be frozen to the bone, I can’t imagine just standing there while watching the parade. brrr…
Chances are slim that the parade will ever be moved to June. It would be nice indeed. I found it too cold to watch the parade last year and this year it definitely was too cold. You’re brave to cycle to the restaurant. I would grab the car for sure to go there, but then again; I am lazy ![]()
Hi,
It’s supposed to snow 2-4 inches here tonight and tomorrow. It’s been grey and drizzely all day. We just had a special dinner, pasta and steak with wine and salad. Other than that we haven’t done much. Scott missed a couple of days of school due to a stomach virus and he is off tomorrow for President’s Day. We’ll probably just sleep in and loaf all day.
BTY Uncle Henry was aware of people etc. this morning, so he seems to be recovering. We haven’t heard anything since morning though.
Great to read that Uncle Henry is getting back to his senses. Last note I read is that he was able to leave the hospital. Excellent news!
I hope that President’s Day was good for you. I also look forward to the warmer weather in Spring. I hope Scott is doing better now, as well. Stomach viruses are iffy ![]()
I called and Henry was getting dressed to go home. So he must be better. We had about a half inch snow. Take care. Love Mom
Great!! I hope that Uncle Henry will recover in full and soon, too. We should find a way to put a ban on snow! ![]()
